Feedback

Here are some typical comments sent in about our masterclasses.

  • M had the most amazing time, and was so, so animated when he came home. He said "maths at school is always so slow and dull but this was the best day ever!!!"
    A Love of Numbers

  • L thoroughly enjoyed it and mentioned that Mr Senior explained things really well. She said it was fun and learned a lot and can't wait until there is another class bless her.
    Building the Future

  • “We had such a stressful morning on Saturday, trying to leave the house, and then A had the most amazing day with the philosophy masterclass. We had great feedback from the teacher Mr S. We were so glad we had managed to turn the situation (😣😡😬I'm not going) around. Thank you to all at tomorrow's achievers for providing something so very valuable to our family, not just our son!”
    How to Think Differently

  • D said it was the “best day ever” and he loved being with other children “just like me”. He does have some really good friends at school but they gel on wacky ideas playing imaginative games rather than, say, philosophy. I think he misses the opportunity to really stretch himself with concepts and pursue them as far as his interest takes him that he had when we home educated. It’s been helpful for me to see him so enthusiastic about what they covered with Marcelo (“the best teacher ever, even better than [class teacher]”) as I can see he’s settled into school well enough that we can start to support him with wider and deeper knowledge at home without it being overwhelming on top of schoolwork. So thank you, it’s been a really useful experience for us all. D went to Waterstones after the masterclass and spent a Christmas book token on one of the books Marcelo had recommended, and then we all had to watch a video about metaphysics over breakfast on Sunday!

  • Thank you. So pleased my daughter could join this and open her mind. It's invaluable to a girl like her.

  • Thank you so much for taking the maths workshop in June. H really enjoyed it so much. In fact, I must say that it was the 3rd maths workshop Harvey has been to at Tomorrow’s achievers and apparently the best so far! Thankyou also for taking the time to explain to the parents what you had looked at on the day; it was very useful to hear! Although, my son’s understanding of Maths has already exceeded my own, the difficulty for me is helping him - I feel as though I need to attend a few workshops too!
    A Love of Numbers

  • H came out of the class buzzing, and proudly showed off his work to anyone who would listen for the rest of the day. I wasn't sure whether to bring my son to the masterclass today, as I had found it myself rather than being referred by a school. I am so glad that I did. I spoke to Tracey afterwards and her feedback about my son nearly had me in tears. It is a real (and unrecognised) battle getting extra support for a child who is of high learning potential, and I am so so grateful to have stumbled upon tomorrows achievers. I think we will be coming to your classes for years to come- if you will have us!

  • Tracey was kind and caring and gave clear instructions about what to do. A thoroughly great experience by all accounts. L had to be dragged from the class and though tired was energised and enthused on the journey home. From the little I observed Tracey established a great rapport with children and parents alike. Highly recommended!
    L's mum on Wonderland masterclass

  • I least enjoyed going home because the magic of wonderland was over.... I could have stayed overnight!
L on Wonderland masterclass, aged 8

  • My daughter came back and got us all debating interesting topics - it had really inspired her!
    Alice's mum on Philosophy

  • My child found the class interesting and fun. She was happy to stay for the whole day on a Sunday (her own choice). This clearly shows that the class was worthwhile. I know if my child was bored she would seize the opportunity to go home and play/watch TV etc. I am happy to allow her to attend another class and would recommend to others. The fact that the class was held in school is helpful too, for safety reasons.
Zaara's mum a on Ten Fingers or Two: How Computers Count

  • It has inspired me to do more I.T and to learn more about computing. After this session I have learnt lots of interesting things and I now want to learn much more and will inspire me to have many more ideas.
Alissia on Ten Fingers or Two: How Computers Count, aged 13

  • I had a happy and fulfilled child buzzing with the joy of it all for hours afterwards, getting him to calm and settle to sleep was tricky as all he wanted to do was talk maths! That says enough really - well done!
Why does E=MC2 and other Important Equations

  • I enjoyed it because it made me think and challenged my brain. I want to become an architect because I love maths and construction. The masterclass intensified my will. Maths can be fun. Honest! 22nd Nov 2015

  • Just wanted to say a massive 'Thank You' for letting my daughter attend the Hunter Games class. She had a fantastic time and can't wait until the next!!! I can't praise the tutor highly enough. She was wonderful. Jane
    Hunter Games

  • As parents unsure of what to expect, we were impressed by the content of yesterday's class and the fun way in which ideas were presented to the kids. We also really liked masterclass leader, and felt comfortable leaving our son for the first time with someone other than a family member/school.
    Mrs J W

  • 'Fantastic! She is buzzing after each masterclass and wishes she could go every day instead of school. These classes are perfect so please don't change anything.'
    Mrs M

  • It inspired me to try harder at challenging things because you really have to switch your brain on and make an effort. I don't have to try hard at school because it is so easy. For me, tricky equals fun.
    Amity, aged 7

  • In answer to question Inspired to learn more? 'Yes. I love science and would like to be a doctor when I grow up'.
