Our masterclass is your first step to becoming a History Detective.
History Detectives find evidence about the past by unlocking the secrets in an historical object. In this first session, you will hold in your hands artefacts ranging from the age of the dinosaurs to the 20th century. They include jewellery from Ancient Egypt, Roman and Medieval coins, a Tudor toy, Victorian letters, and helmets from WW1. We will introduce the Six Golden Questions and other techniques that will help you discover more about the history around you.
