Marcelo runs Masterclasses on Philosophy, Maths and Science and on this day you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of these fascinating topics and have endless fun thinking like you've never done before.

You will be amazed at how we will look at the world so differently and engage in philosophical discussions that will make you an expert of creative and critical thinking!

We will prove that things you thought were possible are actually impossible and things that you thought were impossible are actually possible and make Maths and Science come alive and really meaningful to your lives!

The day is full of practical activities, open-ended challenges, inspirational quotes and videos, opportunities to work collaboratively and to have lots of laughs, humour plays a big part during the day! The funniest thing of all is that you will go home not only thinking that you are a completely different person from the one that arrived in the morning but convinced that it is absolutely brilliant to not know!

Marcelo will also bring hundreds of resources for you to enjoy on the day and he will also set you and your family really interesting tasks to keep enjoying at home!

Bio: Marcelo started his career as a research scientist and then retrained as a teacher. As a primary teacher and Headteacher, Marcelo specialised in developing a philosophy of education that equips children with a lifelong love of learning and with the tools that develop children’s philosophical, creative and critical thinking skills. Marcelo is the author of the books ‘The Joy of Not Knowing’ and ‘Start Thinking’ and is currently working as a lecturer at the University of Sussex and as a consultant with UNICEF and with lots of schools nationally and internationally.
