Marhaba! In this fun workshop you will be introduced to the wonders of the Arabic language. Arabic is the official language of over 20 countries and there are well over 375 million native speakers of the language. Which English words actually have Arabic roots? Which sounds exist in Arabic but not any others? Did you know that 1,2,3,4 etc are actually the Arabic numerals? You will learn the Arabic alphabet and numbers, practice Arabic calligraphy and learn some essential Arabic vocabulary in this fun workshop run by a native Arabic speaker.

Bio: Dr Amina Al-Yassin is a medical doctor and a children's personal development coach. She has experience with gifted children both as a mother and in her line of work. She has an interest in child wellbeing and mental health and has developed several personal development, educational and wellbeing workshops for children. She has a Masters in Education (Medical) and is passionate about enabling children to fulfill their potential, develop a growth-mindset and to be proud of their special talents!
