A Country of Ice and Fire - Become a Geologist for a day
Can ice and fire go together? Let yourself be teleported to a country where it can and learn about what may happen when it does! Explore glaciers and the natural phenomenon called Aurora Borealis. Do you know what country we are going to visit? We will discuss what creates earthquakes, mountains and volcanoes and seek to discover whether, despite the dangers, there could be any advantages of living near an active volcano. We will look at lava rocks, create our own volcanoes and make them explode! Fancy becoming a geologist and a bit of a scientist for a day? Enjoy the fun and challenge at this masterclass and take your creations home to show to your parents.
