Animal Anatomy
This course is full but sometimes we do have people that drop out or we run a second course if there is enough demand. It is definitely worth putting your name on the wait list as we offer places to wait listed children very often. Send your name and details to Patricia Morse and we will add your name to the waiting list.
Description:
A fun-packed, fact-filled day with lots of hands-on practical work. We will begin by examining a host of common invertebrates - including millipedes, woodlice and slugs. Using special magnifying equipment we can begin to identify features and sort them into groups. How many body parts do they have? How do they move? What are those features for? The afternoon involves anatomically correct model-making of your favourite mini-beasts. A must for nature-lovers and would-be entomologists!
