Hogwarts School of Wizardry – a Drama and Script-writing Day
This course is full but sometimes we do have people that drop out or we run a second course if there is enough demand. It is definitely worth putting your name on the wait list as we offer places to wait listed children very often. Send your name and details to Patricia Morse and we will add your name to the waiting list.
Do you love Harry Potter and want to go to school at Hogwarts? Do you enjoy drama, creating scenes and performing? Do you love script-writing and creative writing? If so, this drama day is ideal for you!
You will play drama games at the start of the day, linked to the world of Harry Potter. You will then explore scenes and scenario's linked to Hogwarts, exploring script extracts from the Harry Potter films. You will explore how Harry Potter's experience of Hogwarts changes and develops as the books progress. This will involve exploring his first lessons, learning spells and playing Quidditch. You will also write some short scripts of your own, which you will perform in the second half of the day.
This is a creative, enjoyable and interactive day, exploring life at the most exciting place to go to school....Hogwarts!
